 Inspector Gadget was just your average rookie cop. One day while chasing after a bad guy Gadget slipped on a banana peel straight down the stairs. The injuries that happened to him were so severe the only way he could live was to have his entire body turn into a machine with many gadgets for different purposes. One of the most famous was the Copter. He would say go go gadget Copter, more often then not the gadgets screwed up often having a pen to fight off the mad agents with, when he asked for scissors. Inspector Gadget has a niece Penny who with her laptop type computer and wristwatch to communicate to her dog Brain, who has a head set on so they can talk. Penny and Brain work together to save Gadget's mechanical butt, because he usually walks into trouble. But Gadget get's all the credit. Cheif Quimby will always give Gadget an assignment on a piece of paper which will self-destruct. Quimby always shows up in the wierdest of places and more often then not the self-destructing message will blow up in Chief Quimby's face. Dr. Claw and his evil Mad Cat will always end the show with, "I'll get you next time Gadget, next time." With cartoons the good guy always wins. I loved this show so much. Do do do do do, do do do do do dooo, do do doot, doo do doot, do do do do doot, Inspector Gadget. 
Inspector Gadget:Tons of gadgets, that never seem to work right. not to swift, and could never finish a case if it wasen't for his niece Penny or her dog Brain. Has gadget from pens, to squirt guns, and skates to garage door openers. Penny: Inspector Gadget's niece, she has a nifty computer which seems to have a built in homing device that always knows where gadget is, and unlike most computers always works. She has a wristwatch with which to communicate to her dog Brain which watches out for Gadget. She's the brains behind case and never get's any credit. Brain: He is Penny's dog, and the protector of the innocent Gadget. Poor thing always get's hurt, but always manages to survive. (Hey it's a cartoon). I wish I had a dog, and one that smart. Penny communicates to Brain to tell him where Gadget is and to try to get him away from the Mad Agents. Capeman: Not to sure about Capeman, he only appeared in the last season. Capeman was known to always get in the way of Gadget but meant well always. Cheif Quimby: Appeared from garbage cans and mailboxes with self-destructing messages that were assignments for gadget. He always ended up having the message blow up in his face. Always was to dumb to realize that Gadget never solved any of the assignments, Penny should have said something. 
Dr. Claw:The ringleader of the Mad Agent's, the crazy guy with a metal arm and flew in a mad plane, with his mad cat. What was he so mad about. He should be thrown in jail for animal abuse. At the end of every episode say "I'll get you next time Gadget, next time." It always made me laugh I knew that dummy would never catch him. Mad Cat: This cat needs a psyche evaluation, we don't know if he/she is evil it just laughs, and has a stupid grin, kinda like the cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland. It's a huge excuse for a cat, and look's like a pain in the butt.
